Workstreams and attention
Development rotates through algorithm, miner and security work. The progress monitor checks every ten minutes; website reports refresh every five minutes. Completed tests and source changes are evidence of work, not a guarantee of uninterrupted progress.

Checks completed
- 49 automated tests passed, including saved-chain restart, process crash recovery and rejection of corrupted state.
- The CUDA baseline produced a nonce independently verified with Python hashlib.
- A 4 GiB synthetic memory probe verified 16 sampled lanes on an RTX 3050.
- The service resumed the same chain and identity after moving onto the large storage partition.
The 20 GiB experiment does not fit this 6 GiB card. The synthetic probe does not establish memory hardness, ASIC resistance or final Boreal mining performance.
Interoperability research
Bridge accounting and security work is planned for BOREAL on Ethereum/Solana and BTC into and out of Boreal. Design and dependencies →. No bridge is available for funds.
What happens next
Bounded development cycles work through the local wallet, signed transaction submission, miner jobs, algorithm experiments and stronger validation. Candidate changes must pass tests before promotion. Public launch, production security and a final proof of work remain separate unfinished milestones.
